Sp00py Game Reborn

Sp00py Game Reborn is a complete, ground up remake of my first game, Sp00py Game, originally released in 2019 on itch.io. Sp00py Game was my first foray into game development, and while I'm very proud of it, I made a lot of dumb choices during implementation that I felt made the game seem sloppy. Rather than try and fix what was there, I decided to start from scratch, applying more experienced software engineering principles during development that I didn't have back then.

At this point Sp00py Game is in roughly the same state that it was when I stopped development 6 years ago. Any additional content at this point is just bonus!

But what is Sp00py Game?

Sp00py Game is an arcade game that seeks to emulate the feeling of some of the classics of the genre. You play as Mr. Skeller, a lone skeleton man, whose task is to protect the surface world from Ghosts, Spiders, and all that goes bump in the night. Using his trusty supply of pumpkins and the power of gravity, try to last as long as you can before you are overrun by the terrible creatures that lurk below...
